15.1 Adjustments Before Starting Work
Before starting work, perform or check the following settings:
• Tighten the floor conveyor of the bale chamber (see Chapter entitled “Before Baling/ After
Baling”) on Comprima V 150 XC X-treme
• Working height of the pick-up
• Position of the roller crop guide
• Switch the cutting system on or off
• Cutting length of the cutting system
• Using a bale ejector
• Pre-select baling pressure of Comprima F 155 XC X-treme
• Set the bale size in case of Comprima F 155 XC X-treme
• Pre-select bale size in case of Comprima V 150 XC X-treme
• Pre-select twine tying or net tying
• Utilization of additional tappet strips
• Insert twine or net
• Function of the chain lubrication system
• Reset the bale counter
The necessary work steps are described in the Chapters entitled “Settings” and
“Operation”.
The baling pre ssure must be r educed.
