17.4 Setting Scraper to Spiral Roller

• Ensure that the scraper (2) rests closely against the spiral roller (1).
• When the scraper (2) does not rest closely against the spiral roller (1), set the scraper as
described below.
Prerequisites:
– The tailgate is opened and is locked hydraulically; refer to chapter entitled Safety
Equipment “Stop Cock Tailgate”.
– The side guard on right-hand machine side is opened.
Loosening scraper reinforcer

Three scraper reinforcers (3) are mounted additionally on the scraper rail (1). These scraper
reinforcers and the scraper rail (1) should rest against the spiral roller (2).
To set the scraper rail (1), loosen the scraper reinforcers (3):
• Loosen the screw connections (2).
The scraper reinforcers (3) can be moved in the oblong hole.
