8.1 Connect the machine to the tractor
Warning!
There is a risk of injury when you hitch the machine to the tractor.
When you hitch the machine to the tractor, there is an increased risk of injury. For this reason,
the following points must be observed. The failure to observe these instructions may result in
persons being seriously injured or killed.
• Apply the parking brake on the machine.
• Secure the machine with wheel chocks to prevent it from rolling away.
• During the hitching procedure, never stand between the tractor and the machine.
• Switch off the tractor hydraulic and pneumatic system.
• Switch off all electronic systems.
• Turn off the diesel engine, remove the ignition key and take it with you.
Attaching the machine
Depending on equipment, the machine may be equipped with the following hitches:
– Drawbar eye for bottom hitching
– Drawbar eye for top hitching
CAUTION! This drawbar eye is not approved for operation with swinging drawbar, Piton Fix
or hydraulic hitch. When using non-approved hitching devices, the machine could be
damaged on uneven ground.
– Turnable drawbar eye
– Ball-head attachment
– Drawbar eye for hitch (only export)
• Attach the machine according to operating instructions of tractor.
