12.5.3 Adjusting the Compression Spring on the Hydraulic Start Cylinder
When the hydraulic cylinder is extended the
compression spring (2) on the hydraulic cylinder (1)
should compress to a dimension a = 110 - 120 mm. To
make the adjustment undo the self-locking nut (3) and
twist the adjusting screw. Tighten up the self-locking
again after making the adjustment.
Always switch off the PTO shaft when carrying out care, maintenance or repair work on the
round baler. Bring the machine to a standstill.
Switch off the engine. Remove the ignition key.
Secure the tractor and the round baler from rolling away unintentionally.
Work on the hydraulics system may only be carried out by trained specialists.
Release the pressure before carrying out work to the hydraulics.
12.6 Additional Hydraulic Hose for Operating the Pick up Alone
It is possible to mount another hydraulic connection (1)
as additional equipment to actuate the pick up only. This
requires an additional single-action control valve on the
tractor.
12.7 Wide Angle PTO Shaft
The wide angle PTO shaft is designed as special
equipment for the round baler which allows you to drive
round extremely tight corners with the machine running.
Switch off the PTO shaft before
sliding the wide angle PTO shaft on
to the tractor's PTO shaft.
Switch off the engine. Remove the
ignition key.
Secure the tractor and the round
baler from rolling away.
Hook up safety chains on the PTO
shaft guard.
