14.5 Checking the rear hub damping rubber pieces
Info
The engine power is transmitted from the rear sprocket to the rear wheel via the six damping rubber
pieces. They eventually wear out during operation. If the damping rubber pieces are not changed in time,
the rear sprocket carrier and the rear hub will be damaged.
Preparatory work
– Raise the motorcycle with the rear lifting gear. ( p. 113)
– Remove the rear wheel. ( p. 152)
