15.10Adjusting the basic position of the shift lever x

– Remove screw 1 and take off shift lever 2.
B00882-10
– Clean gear teeth A of the shift lever and shift shaft.
– Position the shift lever in the desired position on the shift shaft and engage the gearing.

The range of adjustment is limited.
The shift lever should not come into contact with other vehicle components dur-
ing shifting.
– Mount and tighten the screw.
