Changing Engine Oil Filter Cartridge
1.
Remove the
oil
filter cartridge with a filter wrench.
2.
Apply engine oil to the rubber gasket on the new cartridge.
3.
Screw the new cartridge
in
by hand. (See page
S-44.)
NOTE
Over-tightening may cause deformation
of
rubber gasket.
After cartridge has been replaced, engine oil normally
decreases a Ilttle,
Check the oil level and
add
new oil
to
the speclfled level.
