Preparing the machine
Changing the PTO speed
With the machine attached:
- Attach lower links to the hitch pins on the inside of the
yokes.
- Uncouple the primary pto shaft from the tractor's
PTO stub.
- Lower and lock parking stand (1).
- Raise tractor lift linkage to free parking stand.
- Remove pin (2).
- Remove pin (3).
- Pivot lower gearcase (4) by half a turn.
- Reinstall pin (3).
- Reinsert pin (2).
- Reinstall drive shaft guard (5).
- Couple PTO shaft on machine side.
The machine is factory set at a PTO speed
(rotational frequency) of 1000 min
-1
.
The input machine speed (rotational
frequency) must correspond to the tractor
PTO speed.
Follow the same procedure to switch from 540 to
1000 min
-1
.
