Reduced or increased ground pressure
To adjust the suspension
From the working position:
- Loosen chain (2) to release crank (3).
- Turn clockwise to reduce the ground pressure until the
mowing unit comes off the ground.
- Rotate counterclockwise to increase the ground
pressure.
- Lock crank (3) with chain (2) after adjustment.
To check the ground pressure:
From the working position:
- Check that the chassis height is correct
(H = 500 to 550 mm (1’7’’ - 1’9’’).
- The force (F) must be of approximately 50 daN
(112 lbf) on each side.
- Readjust if necessary.
The mowing unit is suspended by means of
floatation springs (1).
Place the machine on flat ground.
The adjustment is made with the machine
attached and the drawbar in horizontal
position.
Cutting height is always adjusted before
adjusting the ground pressure.
The chains must be tight.
In case an obstacle has been struck, check
that the mowing unit has not been damaged.
