Measure the groove depth at the center of the tread
pattern. Take measurements at several points since
uneven wear may occur.
Replace the tire if any of the measurements is lower
than the service limit. Make sure the wheel is properly
balanced when a new tire is replaced.
Tire groove abrasion inspection: Check the tires before
starting a journey.
In case of finding a transverse line (minimum pattern
depth), nail or glass chip on the tire, or crack line on the
side wall of tire, go to Kymco dealer for replacing with
new one.
Excessive wear of tire tread pattern will result in reduce
friction and the tire will become more prone to be
punctured; it also affects safety of operation.
