Installing the Driver Software
The driver software installation will create the printer driver for Windows 3.1 or
Windows 95.
Note:
When reinstalling the driver software, do it immediately after restarting windows.
Installing the Printer Driver for Windows 3.1

Start Windows 3.1.

Quit all applications.

Insert the Kyocera Digital Library CD-ROM into your computers CD-
ROM drive.

Double click on the Control Panel.

Double click on Printers.

Click on Add >>.

A screen for “List of Printers:” will appear. From the choices, click on
Install Unlisted or Updated Printer.

Click on Install....

The install driver menu will appear. Type in your CD-ROM drive
name followed by one of the following directory paths depending on
your country:
USA/Canada/Asia/Pacific: \kei\pcl\3x
U.K.: \keu\pcl\3x
Germany: \kee\pcl\3x
France: \kef\pcl\3x
Note:
To install the KPDL printer driver, select “\kpdl” in place of “\pcl” in each line above.

Select Kyocera FS-5800C Enhanced from the printers displayed and
click on OK. Once the driver has been installed, close the Control
Panel by clicking on Close.
