Using the Printer
■ Memory card
The MEMORY CARD menu reads, writes, and deletes data on the memory card. It also allows
formatting the memory card and printing a list of the contents. This menu is available only
when a memory card is inserted into the memory card slot at the back of the printer (☞ P.
51). For instructions on using these submenus, refer to page 51.

■ Life counters
The Life counter menu displays the page count of the printer and the consumption of
supplies. It gives you an idea when the following supplies need to be replaced.

Reset transfer roller option should be used after replacing the transfer roller to a
new one. Selecting this option resets the transfer roller counter to ‘00000.’

When a supply is replaced with a new one, the printer automatically reset the page counter for
that supply to ‘0000000’.
