Paper Size
Cassettes and the manual feed tray can handle the paper sizes listed in the following table. The
printer automatically detects the paper size loaded in a cassette.
Paper Sizes for Paper Feeding

ISO A5 148 x 210 mm
JIS B5 182 x 257 mm
Letter 8.5 x 11 inches
Legal 8.5 x 14 inches
Other sizes of paper can be fed from manual feed tray. The minimum size of fed paper is 80 x 148
mm (3.1 x 5.8 inches). The maximum size is 216 x 356 mm (8.5 x 14 inches). (Printing position
adjustment is required.)
Smoothness
Although it is important to use paper with a smooth and even surface, do not use paper which has
been coated. Paper that is too smooth, can cause multiple feeding and paper jams.
