Selecting a Message Language
The printer has a multi-lingual message display which can be switched to English, German,
French, Italian, and Dutch. The default message language for the printer’s message display is
English. To change the message language to another, follow the procedure described below.

While pressing the ENTER key, turn the
power switch ON ( I ). Keep pressing the
ENTER key until the Please wait mes-
sage is displayed (approximately 1
minute). The message display should indi-
cate Self test.

When the message display shows Please
wait, release the ENTER key.

The message display indication changes to
that shown on the right and ? flashes.

key repeatedly until the
message display shows the desired lan-
guage and then press the ENTER key.
If you do not wish to change the setting,
press the CANCEL key.

The READY indicator on the operator
panel lights and the printer gets ready to
print.
The message language can also be
changed in the mode select menu of the
printer. Refer to the Operation Guide con-
tained as a PDF file in the Kyocera Mita Dig-
ital Library CD-ROM supplied with the
printer, if required. If required, your dealer
can download major languages other than
English, German, French, Italian, and
Dutch to your printer. Contact your dealer.
