Setting the Encrypted Reception
To conduct encryption communication operating the receiving system, follow the steps below.

Register the encryption key ahead of time.
Register the encryption key that you decided upon with the sender.
For the procedure for registering an encryption key, refer to Registering an Encryption Key on page
6-36.

Display the screen.

Turn on encrypted reception.
To turn on encrypted reception, select [On] and select the encryption key number.
Select the encryption key number that you used to register the encryption key that you
decided upon with the sender.
The machine receives the encrypted originals from the sender of the specified encryption key.
