Error Notification
The printer can be configured to send e-mail notifications whenever any error conditions occur. Setup error notification
after configuring the SMTP connection
.
1. On the
SMTP General
page, select an
E-mail Recipient
to configure (to the right of General).
2. For
Recipient [#] Address
enter the e-mail address of the intended recipient. Entering a distribution list address is
a simple way to send to multiple recipients.
3. Under
Event Reports
check the box for each type of error condition to be reported to the recipient.
4. Enter the
E-mail Interval
. An e-mail will be sent at the end of the interval only when at least one of the selected
error conditions has occurred during the interval.
