Turning the Aux 2 Trigger On
This section describes how to turn the Auxiliary 2 record trigger on. When this
feature is on, the DVR will automatically begin recording whenever your Auxiliary 2
device (such as a motion detector) is activated.

f desired, you can program the DVR to automatically stop an Aux 2 triggered
recording X number of minutes after the triggering activity ceases. For example, if
your Aux 2 device is a motion detector, the “triggering activity” would be motion. If
the AUX 2 Delay field is set to 5, then after five motionless minutes, the DVR will
automatically stop recording.

ake sure the door to your DVR is open and Auto mode is off. (If necessary, press
the button until the light turns off.)

Assuming that the value of the AUX 2 Trigger and AUX 2 Stop fields is ON.
