A tungsten carbide coating can be subsequently applied to the smooth surfaces of the Makro•Grip
®
(FS) clamping
jaws to further increase the holding force when smoothly clamping non-stamped workpieces. The coating is
always applied to a pair of clamping jaws.
1.7.2
The holding serration of the clamping jaws can be milled off on request. Please note, however, that the actual
case-hardened contact point to the workpiece will then be soft. In this case, we offer case-hardened clamping
