3.5 Mounting
Installation location Install the ComGate10 preferably so, that it is protected from water, mechanical
influences, lightning and solar radiation.
Install the mobile internet/WLAN antenna primarily outdoors, but also protected
from lightning.
During operation, the external antennas produce electromagnetic radiation.
Therefore they must be installed so that the minimal distance of 0.4 m to the
operator is adhered. To avoid legal restrictions regarding co-location of
antennas, the separation distance between the antennas must be 0.2 m
(shortest distance between the antenna surfaces).
The meteo sensor should be mounted downwards in a dry area and protected from
solar radiation.
Installation orienta-
tion
It is recommended to install the antenna upwards.
Mounting The ComGate10 should be fastened with the embedded DIN rail mounting.
The mobile internet/WLAN antenna should be fastened in a vertical position with
the delivered screws and drill/plug anchors.
Mounting installation for the antenna guide is delivered within the antenna box.
Cable installation Ensure that the cables between the sensors and the ComGate10 are positioned to
prevent them from becoming bent, stretched or squeezed.
