Cleaning
Dust and dirt will affect the quality of your results.
~ Put a dust cover over the instrument

~When accessories are not being
used, protect them aga inst dust.
Some components are made of po l ymer, or are polymer-coated.
They are, therefore, pleasan t and convenient to handle. The u se
of unsui t able cleaning ag ents and techniques can dam a ge
pol yme r s, so always ob se r ve the following rules:
• Never clean them in an ultrasonic bath. The polyme r can
become bri tt le and later break.
• Never u se corrosi ve cleani ng agents or on es containi ng
acetone.
• Never u se solvents f or cleaning (except for et h anol and
isopropanol).
•
With warm soapy water, wi ping down afte rwards
with
distilled water.
With ethanol (industrial alcoh ol ) and isopropano l.
When cleaning with ethanol or isopropano l, adhere
to the appropriate safety regulations .
