UNITY MOTORHOME MOTORHOME OPERATION
ENTRY DOOR STEP
The entry system is equipped with a magnetic
interlock system that activates the lowering and
raising of the Entry Door Step when the magnetic
e l d i s b r o k e n o r c r e a t e d b e t w e e n t h e d o o r

and
chassis

. When the door is opened, the eld is
broken and the step is lowered. When the door is
closed, the eld is completed and the step raises.
In addition, the light on the underside of the step
automatically illuminates when you open the coach
door�
Ensure the entry door step has fully extended
before stepping out of the motorhome.
WARNING
NOTE: The step light will remain illuminated for ve
minutes after extending the steps�

the coach entrance door and turn vehicle
ignition switch to the “ON” position.

INSIDE THE MOTORHOME
Your motorhome can be locked/unlocked from the
inside using the button

located under the in-dash
entertainment system. Press the button to unlock all
entrance doors; press the same button to lock all the
entrance doors�

NOTE: When the paddle lock is in the locked position
on the side entrance door, it can only be opened once
the paddle lock is manually unlocked with the key.
KEYS
Keep a record of all key code numbers and keep
them in a safe place. Do NOT keep them in
your motorhome� Key codes for the chassis can
be obtained only through your local authorized
Mercedes Sprinter dealer.
