an external amplifier for monitoring.
PHONES LEVEL
Pot for controlling the level of headphone output.
TAPE OUT L&R
Two RCA connectors: send out the signal taken from MIX and normally intended for STEREO recording.
These outputs can be connected to the inputs of a recorder.
TAPE IN L&R
Two RCA connectors: receive external signals from STEREO tape recorders, CD player, DAT, etc. These
inputs can be connected to the outputs of your equipment.
TAPE IN
TAPE IN input level control: regulates the level of a signal arriving from an external tape recorder to
MIX L&R. During recording, set the TAPE IN control in the “0” (closed) position to avoid annoying and
“dangerous” feedback or signal loops.
MIX/TAPE
Button for the assignment of the TAPE IN signal to the MIX output:
• button UP (MIX) = the TAPE IN signal is sent only to the headphones output;
• button DOWN (TAPE) = the TAPE IN signal is sent is sent also to the MIX output.
LEVEL
LEDs for the display of the MIX L&R signal level.
The LEDs are of two different colors:
• green/SIGNAL = show the normal operative level of the signal;
• red/PEAK = show a too high signal level (OVERLOAD).
To ensure clean, distortion-free signals and to avoid damaging the components of your sound system,
try to avoid making the red LEDs lighting up repeatedly.
+48V
LED indicating when the +48V phantom power is switched on: this LED lights up when the button
on the connector panel on the rear of the mixer is pressed.
ON
LED indicating when the mixer is switched on: this LED lights up when the button on the connector
panel on the rear of the mixer is pressed.
