1.StartLenovoSetup.
2.SelectStartup.
3.SelectUEFI/LegacyBoot.
4.Dooneofthefollowing:
•IfyouwanttoinstalltheWindows7(32–bit)operatingsystem,selectLegacyOnlyorBoth.
•IfyouwanttoinstalltheWindows7(64–bit)operatingsysteminLegacymode,selectLegacyOnly.
•IfyouwanttoinstalltheWindows7(64–bit)operatingsysteminUEFImode,selectUEFIOnly.
5.PressFn+F10.
6.InserttheWindows7operatingsysteminstallationDVDintotheDVDdrive,andrestartthecomputer.
7.RestoreC:\SWTOOLSfromthebackupcopyyoumadebeforestartingtheinstallation.
8.FormodelswithanIntelCPU,installtheIntelChipsetSupportforWindows2000/XP/Vista/7.T odothis,
runtheinnst_autol.exeleintheC:\SWTOOLS\DRIVERS\INTELINFdirectory.
9.Installdevicedrivers.See“Installingotherdriversandsoftware”napágina74.

Toinstallaxmodule,runtheEXEleinasubfolderandfollowtheinstructionsonthescreen.
Nota:Ifyouremovetheharddiskdrivefromthecomputerwithasingle-coreprocessorandinstallitona
computerwithadual-coreprocessor,youcangetaccesstotheharddiskdrive.Theopposite,however,is
nottrue:Ifyouremovetheharddiskdrivefromacomputerwithadual-coreprocessorandinstallitona
computerwithasingle-coreprocessor,youcannotgetaccesstotheharddiskdrive.
