10.1 Optional power supply
An optional power supply is only required if the power supplied by the
command station is not sufficient to supply all connected devices.
Among these devices are XpressNet devices (manual control,
Interface, key module) but also feedback-enabled decoders (feedback
modules and switch decoders) and amplifiers.
The power supply described here does not correspond to
the power supply of the track layout (connection J&K), but
only the devices connected to the XpressNet as well as
the connections CDE and RS.
The LZ/LZV100 can supply a maximum of 300mA for
these devices.
Use the following table to calculate the power consumption of devices
already in use:
If the supply of the command station is not sufficient, the green LED of
the key module will not shine. Use the mains adapter 26160 to supply
the LW150 with power.
