PROFINET® (Process Field Network) is a real-me capable network based on Ethernet.
PROFINET® is a registered trademark and patented technology licensed by the PROFIBUS &
PROFINET Internaonal (PI) user organizaon.

PROFINET transmits, between the IO-Devices and a IO-Controller (PLC), parameter data,
conguraon data, diagnosc data, alarm messages, and process data.
The data is transmied as a funcon of its me-crical behavior via corresponding
communicaon channels.
The device is implemented as a PROFINET-Device in a PROFINET RT network.
The PROFINET connecons are realized as standard RJ45 sockets.

Precondions
The device is equipped with the "PROFINET" network opon via slot 1. 4Features ^ 12

The PROFINET connecon is established via the RJ45 sockets X2x6 and X2x7.
For establishing the connecon to the network, a common standard Ethernet cable from
CAT 5/5e is suitable.
