SELECTING PREFERRED LISTENING MODES (continued)
5.1mc
Opens the 5.1mc MODE menu, to select a preferred listening mode
for 5.1-channel input sources. The MC-12HD activates the
preferred listening mode whenever a new input is selected or a new
5.1-channel source is present.
When the 5.1mc parameter is set to USE LAST:
• The MC-12HD uses the listening mode that was activated the
last time a 5.1-channel analog source was present.
• The 5.1mc THX MUSIC listening mode is used if this listening
mode was activated the last time a 5.1-channel source was
present. Since 5.1mc THX MUSIC is a dynamic listening mode,
it cannot be selected as the preferred listening mode for 5.1-
channel analog sources.
MIC
Opens the MIC MODE menu, to select a preferred listening mode
for the LIVE! source. The MC-12HD automatically activates the
preferred listening mode when the ANALOG IN selection is LIVE!
When the MIC parameter is set to USE LAST the MC-12HD uses the
listening mode that was activated the last time a MIC source was
present.
