Intercom – describes internal calls within the telephone system
Central Office Line – also known as a trunk line, exchange line or
outside line
A commonly used number stored in a speed bin for easy access
Do Not Disturb – the station is blocked to all incoming calls
Forward – calls can be sent to another location such as voicemail
or another station
Digital Key Telephone Unit – a proprietary digital telephone
Single Line Telephone – an analog telephone
Voice Message Interface – an optional Voice Processing card
Conference – talk to 2 or more internal or external parties at the
