n Set a screen lock:Ifyourdeviceislostorstolenbutyouhaveascreenlockset,thedevicecan't

beerasedusingtheSettingsmenuunlessyourscreenisunlocked.

n Add your Google account on your device:IfyourdeviceiswipedbutyouhaveyourGoogle

accountonit,thedevicecan'tfinishthesetupprocessuntilyourGoogleaccountinformationis

enteredagain.

Afteryourdeviceisprotected,you’llneedtoeitherunlockyourscreenorenteryourGoogleaccount

passwordifyouneedtodoafactoryreset.Thisensuresthatyouorsomeoneyoutrustisdoingthe

reset.

Note:DonotforgetyourGoogleaccountandpasswordyouhadaddedtoyourdevicepriorto

performingafactoryreset.Ifyoucan’tprovidetheaccountinformationduringthesetupprocess,you
