The Security menu allows you to
secure the phone electronically.
1. Press
[MENU] .
2. Press
Settings.
3. Press Phone Settings.
4. Press Security.
5. Enter the 4-digit lock code.
The default code is the last 4
digits of your phone number.
5.6.1 Edit Codes
Allows you to enter a new 4-digit
lock code.
1. Press
[MENU] .
2. Press
Settings.
3. Press Phone Settings.
4. Press Security.
5. Enter the 4-digit lock code.
6. Press
Edit Codes.
7. Choose Phone Only or Calls
& Services
, then enter your
new lock code. Enter it again
to confirm it.
5.6.2 Restrictions
Allows you to set separate
restrictions for Location Setting,
Calls, Messages, and Dial-Up
Modem.
1. Press
[MENU] .
2. Press
Settings.
3. Press Phone Settings.
4. Press Security.
5. Enter the 4-digit lock code.
6. Press
Restrictions.
7. Enter the service lock code.
The default code is the last 4
digits of your phone number.
