180 Section 3C: Music and Your Player
Using Music Manager
Rumor2 lets you use the Music Manager application to
manage the music content on your computer and then easily
copy it to your phone’s microSD card. Just install the software
and you’re on your way. The Music Manager application
helps you use your computer to organize, search for, and play
music files. This phone does not support downloading or
playing music purchased through the Music Manager or
Digital Lounge.
Getting Music Manager
1. On your computer, go to website of your service
provider
and download the Music Manager application.
2. Follow the onscreen instructions to install and launch
the application, including accepting the license
agreement and rebooting your computer, if necessary.
Launching Music Manager
Double-click the Music Managericon on your computer’s
desktop (or select
Start> Programs > Music Manager > Music
Manager
). The application will launch and display the main
menu.
Tip : The first time you use Music Manager, an onscreen Quick Start Guide
will offer a tour of the application. Follow the instructions to learn more.
