5.7. Multiviewer with Preview Images
The preview image generated by an Encoder can be used to check the presence and the content of the
active video signal of an Encoder. The image is updated in every third seconds approximately. The resolution
width is 360 pixels and the height is dynamic
to maintain input aspect ratio. The preview images can be opened in different browser windows of each
Encoder, since the image path is available by the following ways:
▪ http://<device_IP_address>/capture.jpg (e.g. )
▪ http://LWR-gatewayAABBCCDDEEFF.local/capture.jpg where AABBCCDDEEFF is the MAC address of
the device (without colons or hyphens) – which can be seen on the housing of the extender. (e.g.
)
INFO: Decoders do not contain preview. The shown image is coming from the connected Encoder.
You can even use this image in any third party web GUI or in a supervising system. Advanced users may
