Working under load
Driving under load
NOTE
When transporting cargo, the dispatcher must
ensure that the goods are safely loaded for
transportation and secured if necessary.
Please therefore make sure that goods are
properly stacked and there is no damage to
packagings, pallets etc. The carrier must en-
sure safe loading.

¾ Do not transport loads if they have slipped
to the side ( e. g. with sideshift).
¾ Transport loads close to the f
loor.
¾ On ascending/descending routes always
transport loads facing uphill; never travel
crosswise or turn.
¾ If visibility is poor, instructions should be
provided by a second person.
¾ Iftheloadtobetransportedis
stacked so
high as to obstruct visibility
in the direction
of travel, only reversing is t
hen permitted
with the forklift truck .
