7 Poor rolling
results on
workpieces
with thin walls

Remaining wall

Reduce bore or drill after thread rolling.
Place arbor into bore when thread rolling

Stroke of cross slide

(rolls engaged for too

inside of the head. This roll must spring back
automatically.

available, coolant must be free of chips
