If you have diculty with your phone, please try the suggestions listed
below.
Problem Cause Solutions
No dialing tone
when pressing
the button
• The telephone line
cord is not plugged
into the base unit.
• The power adapter
is not plugged in
correctly to the base
unit.
• The line is busy, as
another handset is
being used.
• Wrong connection
cord.
• Check the connections.
Unplug and plug back
in the mains. Check
that the telephone line
cord is plugged into
the base unit and the
phone socket.
• Check the base unit
plug and the 220V plug
(remove and plug-in).
• Wait until the line is
unoccupied.
• Use the supplied
connection cord.
When connected
to a PBX, no
and/or wrong
connection after
dialing.
Dialing prefix is
needed.
Insert the dialing prefix.
“SEARCH’G” is
displayed.
• Base unit out of
range.
• Base unit not
connected to mains.
• Reduce the range.
• Connect base unit to
mains.
The call does not
work.
Service not activated

This telephone is not equipped with a grounding function! Therefore,
some of the functions may be limited when used in PBX systems.
