shape to a direct parameter (for example in a focus or gobo wheel).
The shape is active in scene, just now; it’s possible to adjust its values. For that, press:
[OPTIONS] {adjust size, rate…}
Exit of this function pressing [OPTIONS], [EXIT] or pressing [LOAD] [S#] (in this case the
editor is loaded in a Submaster as a new group).
At any other time, if you want to adjust the values of the shape in the editor, press:
[SHAPE][2], Now, any table value can be changed using the numeric keyboard or the
encoder wheel.
It is now possible to change the palette, the effect (offset), the size, the speed, etc… Shapes
parameters:
Pattern applied in the shape during the editing. Here it can be changed.
Parameters group selected in the shape editing process. Can be changed.
Offset values that are applied among the items… With values from 0 (all
items doing the shape at the same time), up to 10 (each item doing the shape,
one by one). The Nm allows setting an item # different to the selection.
Size of the shape (amplitude). This parameter has 2 parts. A: the absolute
value. B: the reference point to apply the variations:
Variations from centre. Example 50 over 50, to obtain values as 25-75
Variations from up. Example 50 over 50, to obtain values as 0-50
Variations from down. Example 50 over 50, to obtain values as 50-100
Execution speed for the shape. From 0 (stop) to 99 (maximum speed). And
the sign (+ or -) indicating the direction of the shape.
Game allows to obtain others properties for the shape. With Nm as items
number or cycles number, depending of the selected Game. The Games are:
SizeItem, used to vary the shape size per item according to curves
RateItem, used to vary the shape rate per item according to curves
SizeCy, used to vary the shape size per cycle according to curves
RateCy, used to vary the shape rate per cycle according to curves
Form, used to change the relative size in palettes for complex types as
position, or mix colours… It is possible to make an oval from an applied
circle or adjust the “gain” of a fixed colour in a CMY mix.
Shapes are stored in groups and cues, and are executed with selecting these groups or cues.
25.1. OTHERS OPTIONS FOR SHAPES
Selections
Shapes are applied over a selection of channels and/or fixtures, and to execute with effects and
games. The console orders these items numerically. This order can be changed, for this, access the
shapes editor (pressing [SHAPE][2]), and press [OPTIONS] to choose the Selections
options. In the new screen opening, it is possible to change the order of the items.
Add option ([SHAPE][1])
This option is to add a new shape to the last selection with shapes, this option is applied following
the same steps that the option new ([SHAPE][0])
