37.4.2. Playbacks (31)
For Playbacks configuration:
Level for Flash, normal, solo or absolute (Flash Level)
If Solo Flash affects to the crossfader output, or not (Solo Off X)
Configurations for the general faders: SM, GM and their back-out keys (SM, GM, BLKoUT-SM)
Dipless Crossfader Formula: (Dipless Mode). These formulas affect to the channels in X2
that they have a lower level that the current scene level, in one formula, these channels can fade as
input channels (T ) or as in scene fade out can fade as output channels (T).
The option Return track, where:
Return Track is ENABLED: when a group, or cue, is deactivated from a
Submaster, its “ltp” parameters (all the fixture parameters except dimmer) return to their
initial value with their corresponding fading. In general, if you are storing colors,
dimmers, positions, etc. in several submasters, and then you combine them, uses this option.
Return Track is DISABLED: when a group, or cue, is deactivated from a
Submaster, its “ltp” parameters (all the fixture parameters except dimmer) remain in scene
until Submaster has reached its 0%. And if any playback is no controlling them, these will
maintain its values in scene as new tracking. In general, if you are storing complete
scenes, with dimmer and parameters in the same Submaster, uses this option.
We made one example to understand the difference.
Store in S1 a group with a Scroller in red and in S2, the same Scroller in green. And, we
observe the differences, activating and deactivating the Submasters in different sequences:
