2.2.6 Protection devices

Dehumidifier controller is specially designed according the operation of the dehumidifier
and it is designed to optimize its performance. Motor overload and short circuit protection is
included as well.

Start-up delay protection: If the dehumidifier is power off during operation, it will take 3
minutes to turn on again. This is a delay protection for protecting the compressor.

Shutdown delay protection: When the dehumidifier is power off, the fans will keep running
for 3 minutes, to cool down the dehumidifier thus reducing the internal heat of the
dehumidifier.

Fans operation mode: The fan will run and stop according to the RH setpoint.

High temperature protection: Prevent the compressor running continuously at high
temperatures;

Low pressure protection: Prevents the dehumidifier running without refrigerant to avoid
compressor from being overload.
