13 ERROR AND LOW BATTERY INFORMATION
INDICATION POSSIBLE REASON CORRECTION METHODS
The cuff is positioned incorrectly
The tube plug is not securely attached to the main body
Movement of arm (or hand) or talking during
measurement
The cuff is not inflated to sufficient pressure
Arrhythmia
Ensure cuff is correctly positioned; repeat measurement
Ensure tube plug is securely attached to main body
Remain still and quiet; repeat measurement, following
recommendations of this manual
Repeat measurement; inflate cuff to at least 40 mmHg
higher than the expected systolic pressure
Consult your physician
The batteries are weak Replace all four batteries with new ones
