WARNING: Do not put too much tension on the safety cable. There
needs to be a small amount of slack present in the safety cable for
proper functioning. Avoid sharp edges.
The safety cable must
be securely attached to
the building structure and
NOT the unistrut. It can
be attached to I-beams,
steel trusses, or Glulams
as shown in sections 1.2.1,
1.2.2 and 1.2.3. Avoid sharp
edges. If you are unsure
how to secure the safety
cable properly, contact a
structural engineer.
