Windscreen washer water level
The tank of windscreen washer is located in the maintenance
area beneath the engine door.

Check that there is enough washer water in the tank.
X Refill with water if necessary.
If there is a possibility that the temperature might drop
to freezing temperatures, add anti-freeze to the washer
water to keep the water from freezing.
Air dryer
The air dryer is located on the left side of the MT under the
cover of the pneumatics compartment. The air dryer – using
an air dryer cartridge – dries the compressed air that the
compressor supplies. This makes it unnecessary to add anti-
freeze agent for the compressed air system.
The air dryer cartridge needs to be replaced in regular
intervals.

Tyres/wheels
Check the wheels for the following:
z Objects jammed in the treads
z Correct tyre pressure (10 bar when the tyres are cold)
z Deformations, dents
z Damaged wheel rims
z Missing or loose wheel bolts and nuts
z Tyre tread depth,
z Extremely unevenly worn tyre treads
