Vehicle electrical system
Main battery switch
The main battery switch is at the entrance on the left side of
the vehicle. The main battery switch breaks the electrical con-
nection between the vehicle battery and the electrical loads.
CAUTION!
Material damages!
Turning off the main battery switch can damage the
generator, the electrical equipment and the controllers.
X Do not turn off the main battery switch while the
motor is running.

Switching the main battery switch
X Set the main battery switch to the horizontal position.
3 The electrical connection is established.
X Set the main battery switch to the vertical position.
3 The electrical connection is interrupted.
Switch the main battery switch to “OFF” when you park
the MT for a longer duration. This prevents the vehicle
battery from possibly discharging.
