Care
Regular care serves to maintain the value of your MT.
For cleaning, you can use commercially available vehicle care
products from vehicle accessory dealers.
Caring for the MT exterior
The best protection against harmful environmental influences
for the MT is frequent washing and conservation.
WARNING!
Accident hazard!
Wet brakes extend the braking path of your MT.
X Check the MT's brake function at low speed and
without load after washing.
You can use a high-pressure cleaner to clean the MT.
CAUTION!
Property damage!
Incorrect handling of the high-pressure cleaner can
cause paint damage or short circuits.
X Keep the cleaner nozzle at a distance of at least
50 cm from the painted surfaces during cleaning.
X Never use a high-pressure cleaner with a cone
nozzle.
X Do not spray perpendicular onto the paint surface.
X Do not aim the cleaning jet into the cabin, onto elec-
trical equipment, or onto equipment where you are
unsure about its function and sensitivity.
Caring for the MT interior
For cleaning the driver's cab interior, use a moist,
lint-free cloth.
