Inspection work
Main battery switch
The main battery switch is located at the entry area on the left
side of the vehicle. The main battery switch breaks the electri-
cal connection between the vehicle battery and the electrical
loads.

1 “ON” position
2 “OFF” position
Check
X Check whether the main battery switch is switched on.
Lighting system
X Inspect the lighting system for:
z Obvious damage
z Functionality
Loss of fluids
X Check below the MT for oil and/or water pools.
3 If you do find any signs of leakage, perform a detailed
inspection to find the cause.
Leaks may involve any of the following:
z Oil loss – engine transmission, axle transmission
z Loss of coolant – engine
z Battery acid
