Driving instructions
Parking
The MT cannot be secured against rolling by putting it in gear.
Make sure to engage the parking brake before you exit the MT.
WARNING!
Danger of injury!
If the parking brake fails, a parked MT can begin to roll
and present an injury hazard.
X Secure the MT with blocks in addition to the parking
brake.
If the MT is to be shut down for a longer period, switch the main
battery to “OFF” to prevent the battery from discharging.
Checks before driving
Carry out the following checks before you start driving the MT.
z Make sure that no persons are situated in the danger area
of the MT.
DANGER!
Danger of injury!
People can be severely injured by being crushed during
shunting.
X Always make sure that there is nobody between the
MT and semi-trailer/trailer when coupling.
X Always keep eye contact with guiding personnel.
X Never let the semi-trailer/trailer run onto the MT.
X The MT must always be coupled to the stationary
semi-trailer/trailer.
z Check that all warning lights are off.
z Make sure that there is sufficient air pressure in the
compressed air tanks.
