After being switched on, the multi-function display conducts
a self-test in 2 phases.
Phase 1
z All function indicators illuminate.
z All elements on the LCD are displayed.
Phase 2
z The number of operating hours until the next service is due
appears on the display.
After the self-test, the multi-function display automatically
changes to normal display. The following displays are active:
z Temperature display in °C for the engine coolant, possibly
with the trend displayed by a small arrow pointing upwards
for increasing temperature or downwards for decreasing
temperature
z Pressure display in bar for the transmission oil
z Fuel gauge
z Engine speed
z Current driving speed in km/h or mph
