installed and operational:

Icing
Flight into known icing conditions is prohibited.

Table 2-11 summarises the equipment required under Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR)
Part 23 for airworthiness under the listed kind of operation. Refer to relevant local operating rule
requirements for additional equipment that may be necessary operationally.
Additional equipment may be tted to the aircraft but which is not essential for ight.
