3.16.3 Removing and fitting the heat exchanger
Component
XXXX heat exchanger
Tools required
10mm socket wrench
Requirements
Check that the following requirements have been met:
The appliance has been disconnected from the power supply and protective measures taken to
ensure the power cannot be switched on again.
The gas supply has been shut off.
The left-hand side panel has been removed.
The convection burner fan has been removed.
Removing the heat exchanger
1. Use a 10mm socket wrench to remove the six screws from the
hot-air burner and take out the burner unit with fitted gas mantle.
2.
Remove the gasket.
3. Use a 10mm socket wrench to undo the four screws on the heat
exchanger inside the cooking chamber.
Fitting the heat exchanger
Follow the instructions in the reverse order to fit the heat exchanger.
