Display Information
The Manning sampler is capable of displaying a wealth of information through the 2 line by 20 character
display. The following describes the functions and how they can be of benefit to the user:
Time o f Day The t ime of day is always displayed in the bottom r ight hand corner o f the
display. The format is a 24 hour clock HH:MM:SS. If the display is not
counting down the seconds, the controller may have quit functioning. Press
<RESET> to warm boot the system. If this does not clear the
problem, please call Manning at 1-800-863-9337.
Program Status The bottom left hand corner of the display is used fo r indicating miscellaneous
program and functional information. T he information displayed here varies
depending on the operational status of the active program. The following
highlights the function of t he display in different modes:
Sampler Ready Shows time of day in HH:MM format (24 hour clock)
Programming In programming situations, the display is used for entering t he data required by
the particular mode that is being programmed.
Active Program The information displayed depends on the type of program and the status of that
program. When a t ime is shown in this section o f t he display it is signified by a
flashing colon. T he time shown may signify t ime to sample, time override, purge
time, draw t ime, or o ther times associated with t he program. All t ime displays
are in HH:MM format, except for configuration function times (draw time, purge
time, measure time, deposit time) and *07 DELAYED SAMPLE EVENT
MODE which are shown in MM:SS format. Non time displays are characterized
by a 4 digit display which does not posses a flashing cursor. The information
relayed here may be t he sample number or t he bottle number depending on t he
active program and its state.
