NOTE: In order for the sampler to correctly scale the analog signal being output from the external device, the
parameters (in t his case Upper Level Limit and Lower Level Limit) s et in the sampler and t he external device
must be the same. This is to ensure that if the external device is reading 10 feet and outputting a 4mA signal,
the sampler will also know t hat 10 feet is equal to 4mA. If the parameters do not correspond, there is a risk
that the sampler will potentially not scale the analog signal correctly and will subsequently not take samples at
the anticipated or correct instances.

Sample Events.

SAMPLER READY
04/30 04:30:02
This display indicates the sampler is ready t o program and displays
the current time. Press the * key t o begin programming.
ENTER * MODE
__ __ 04:30:02
The sampler is now prompting fo r a star mode to be input. E nter the
numbers which represent the star mode of choice, in this example 06,
and press <ENTER>.
UPPER LEVEL LIMIT?
__ __ __ __ 04:30:02
Enter t he Upper Level Limit as a 4-digit number. R emember t he
decimal is implied in this program and the unit of measure is generic,
so if t he user wants 10 feet/meters/inches/millimeters, it could be
entered as 0010, 0100, or 1000. Make sure to be CONSISTENT in
entries throughout the program.
LOWER LEVEL LIMIT?
__ __ __ __ 04:30:02
Enter t he Lower Level Limit as a 4-digit number. R emember t o be
consistent with t he implied decimal from previous entries.
SAMPLING LEVEL 1?
__ __ __ __ 04:30:02
Enter t he first level as a 4-digit number remembering to put in the
implied decimal point. S ampling Level 1 must be greater than the
Lower Level Limit.
