Inspection before driving
Before driving, make sure to carefully check the following items. Never ignore
the importance of this inspection.
Contents
Purpose
Steering handlebar
1. Smooth
2. Free steering
3. Not loose
Lighting
Operate all lamps -- head light, tail light, brake light, instrument
board lighting lamp, turning signal lamps
Transmission oil
Check for Proper oil level
Brake
1. Check clearance of rear brake pedal
2. Not "spongy" feeling
3. No leakage
Indicators
Neutral gear, gear position, oil level indicators (or turning signal
indicators)
Accelerator
1. Proper free play in accelerator cable
2. Check accelerator returns to closed position
Tires
1. Correct air pressure
2. Proper tread pattern depth
3. No cuts or damage
Horn
Check operation
Clutch
1.
Proper free play in clutch cable
2.
Smooth operation and full releasing
Fuel
Adequate fuel for the distance planned
Driving chain
1.
Proper tightness
2.
Proper lubrication
